The small town of St.Vith is situated at
the meeting-point of the Eifel and Ardennes, amidst peaceful nature,
surrounded by woods and pasture, offering plenty of leisure time
activities such as golfing, walking, mountain biking, skiing and cross
country skiing, sailing, and many more.
Already
since the middle of the 19th century, St.vith has had a hostelry with
stables in the "Posthalterei" (coaching inn). After its
destruction during the war in 1944, the newly built hotel was opened in
1950.
Arno and Ingrid Pankert have succeeded in creating an internationally
renowned Gourmet restaurant in the seventies, which has been managed by
three generations.
