The
Hotel "Les 3 Clés" was created in 1910 by the great-uncle of
Marc Horgnies on the square in front of Gembloux station. At the time,
the hotel had 22 rooms and 3 banqueting rooms. The hotel was
expropriated and demolished in 1980 to make way for a railway tunnel in
Gembloux.
The Horgnies family then created a new hotel at the intersection of the
N4 and N29 main roads, at the "Croisée" crossroads, a
location that enabled it to acquire an exceptional position in the heart
of Belgium, with the benefit of easy access.
The Hotel "Les 3 Clés" is managed at present by Mr.Marc
Horgnies and his son; this is a comfortable family hotel, where each
member of the staff feels responsible, motivated and ready to help.
Clients feel at home and are on
friendly terms with the staff. The welcome is personal,
and everyone's main concern is to satisfy the client.
As soon as you arrive you will be able to
appreciate the warm touch of our hotel, from breakfast through to your
rest at the end of the day.
We have 45 rooms, in the 4-star category, both single and double (double
bed and twin beds), with their own bath or shower, toilet, hairdryer,
electric trouser press, telephone with direct dialing, radio alarm,
mini-bar, colour TV, private balcony …
The hotel is readily accessible for people
with reduced mobility and there is also a lift. A buffet breakfast is
served each day from 7 to 10 am, offering various sorts of bread,
pastries, honey, jams, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit juices,
coffee, tea, etc.
All
of the team at the "Moulin de l'Escaille" will be pleased to
welcome you every day of the week, from 12 noon to 2.30 pm and from 6 to
10 pm.
Our Chef takes great care of his guests by offering a varied menu and
gastronomic set meals served in our air-conditioned restaurant; his
menus offer market products exclusively and vary according to the
seasons of the year.
Just ask – we can send you a personalised menu for your business meal
or for a family get-together.
We have 9 seminar rooms, for 10 to 200
participants. Our rooms are air-conditioned, with natural lighting; all
have a direct outside telephone line and an ISDN line.
Conveniently close to the motorways, in
the heart of Belgium, the Hotel "Les 3 Clés" in Gembloux
welcomes you in its modern setting, near the town centre and on the edge
of the Escaille nature reserve, where wonderful walks are just waiting
for you.
