The Hotel Botaniek is an 18th Century Mansion elegantly renovated into a charming hotel The Hotel is situated right in the very center of historic Bruges. While located conveniently in the heart of the city. We are very well know for our tranquil atmosphere, which makes the Botaniek*** an ideal Hotel especially after a busy sightseeing day. We are located on a very quiet street only 50 meters from Bruges picturesque and romantic canals. We are also only a few minutes walking distance from the Main-Square, “Burg” and “Market”. There is no better place than the Hotel Botaniek. An ideal starting point from which to discover first-hand the “Venice of the North”. The hotel Botaniek*** is complete with a breakfast room that has been tastefully decorated by the owner, and a quiet sitting room with furniture reminiscent of the Louis XV era. There are only 3 rooms on each floor and each floor may be reached via the elevator. The top floor offers several unique and panoramic views of Bruges and it’s wonderful architecture this includes the Church of Our Lady, Botaniek Park, the Belfry Tower and of course a roof top view of the beautiful houses in the neighbourhood.

We offer nine charming rooms with ensuite bathrooms, bath or shower and toilet. Telephone, radio and televison with English, French, Dutch, German and Spanish Language programs.

People who wish to visit Brugge by car and stay over night will have to park their car in one of the four public car parks. The closest car park to the Botaniek is the Pandreitje (2 minutes walk). The cost for 24 hours stay is 8,70 euro, or there is a public car park by the train station cost for 24 hours is 2 euro with a free bus into the centre of Brugge. The Hotel can offer private parking and the price for 24 hours is 12 euro and must be booked 1 week in advance with a credit card number as a guarantee.

How to reach us :
By car:
From Calais: You will need to get onto the A16/E40 to Junction 7 on the roundabout take the third exit. On this road you will arrive at a set of traffic lights, go straight (you will go round two roundabouts taking the second exit each time). You will have now reached the Back of the Brugge Station where there is a another set of traffic lights, go throught these and you will arrive at a roundabout.

When you arrive in Brugge you take direction "station". Leave the station at your right hand side. You are now on the ring road around Brugge. About 1 km after the railroad station, you enter the town by the town gate "Katelijnepoort" (on the left). You are now in the "Katelijnestraat". Go straight on till the church "Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk" (at your right). There you go to the right. You are then in a street called "Dyver", where the most important museums are situated (Gruuthuse, Brangwyn, Groeninge). Go straight on till the "Vismarkt" (Fish market), at your left. Opposite the fish market (at your right), there is a small street "Josef Suvée straat". Take this road. The hotel is in the next street on the left.

By train:
At the station in Bruges you take bus nr. 6 or 16 till the "Vismarkt" (fish market). Go back a few steps and take the small street "Josef Suvéestraat". The hotel is in the next street on the left. A taxi from the station to the hotel costs 8 euros maximum.
