The name 'Gulden Vlies' originates from
the order of knights that was founded in 1430 by Filips de Goede in
Brugge.
The house was build at the beginning of
the 20th century and changed into a hotel in the 80's. You can find it
in a nice lane with other stately mansions. The rooms have all been
refurbished and are really nice and comfortable. We have chosen for a
stylish combination of beige, aubergine and ebonywood together with
antique wardrobes and a good eye for detail. Each room has its own
bathroom with shower, washstand and toilet. There is a tv and a
hairdryer in every room.
The superior rooms are spacious rooms
with a refurbished bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. The superior
rooms can be used as family rooms (up to 4 people).
